Kerri Wiliamson
Kerri grew up in the foothills south of Calgary. Her love of horses showed through at an early age. 4-H was big in Kerri’s life and she was a member of the Millarville Saddle Sores 4-H Club for almost 10 years. Kerri and her horse Major have travelled throughout southern Alberta for shows. A highlight of the past few summers for Kerri has been riding as a ranch girl at the Calgary Stampede. Kerri is currently in her second year of nursing at Mount Royal College. Kerri also enjoys sports, both playing and coaching. Travel is another important aspect of Kerri’s life, as she has had the opportunity to visit Europe, Mexico and the US

Calgary Stampede Princess Kateri Cowley
Kateri’s background has always been driven by horses and the western culture. She grew up on Rafter 6 Ranch and has done many incredible things with horses. She has travelled to Texas to train cutting horses. She has worked and competed in rodeo, roping, reining, penning, western pleasure and trail horse disciplines. Kateri works in the motion picture industry. The first movie she worked on was How the West Was Fun in 1994 starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. She currently works on the CBC Series Heartland among other projects.
Kateri is proud of her relationship with her First Nations neighbours; she was given the name “Still Waters.” She gives tours of the Passing of the Legends Museum and participates in Buffalo Nations Cultural Society. Kateri hopes to one day travel the world.

Tara Sergerie
Tara’s background is also deeply rooted in Western Culture. She was a long-time member of 4-H, has competed in various reining competitions and rodeos. Tara was an Airdrie Rodeo Princess in 2005 and Miss Rodeo Canada in 2007. Her mother was the Stampede Queen in 1976. During the summer Tara works as a stunt double and wrangler in the motion picture industry and has spent the last five Stampedes as a ranch girl. Tara is also working towards her degree in nursing at Mount Royal College and hopes to work with Doctors Without Borders. Tara was born in Montreal and is fluent in both of our nation’s official languages

Kochan, 20, is in her second year at Mount Royal College, where she is working towards her marketing degree. Kochan enjoys breaking young horses and riding competitively. Kochan also enjoys baseball, golf and giving lessons to intermediate riders.

Morstad, 24, has earned a degree in agricultural economics, with a minor in business from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently working at Bow Valley College as a business and financial analyst. Showing and riding horses has been a large part of Morstad's life and she has received recognition at the provincial, national and international level.

Byrne, 21, is a native Calgarian and is currently attending Mount Royal College. Byrne was a member of the Canadian National Luge Team. In the future Byrne would like to own her own ranch and compete in reining competitions.

Cheryl is a 23-year-old from Calgary who has a background in competitive cattle penning. A graduate of Acadia University's recreation management program, Cheryl currently works at the Cameron Coulee Ranch. Her future career plans include owning her own ranch where she can run corporate team building seminars with a rodeo theme.

Lauren MacLennan is 20 years old and in her third year studying communications and public relations. She is a former Calgary Stampede Showrider and spends her summers working for the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association. Lauren enjoys traveling, barrel racing and wilderness adventures.

She is a former member of the Young Canadians of the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede and continues her performing and dancing talents as a ballet instructor at Abstract Dance Academy. She is currently working on her Fitness & Nutrition Diploma. In Coleen's spare time, she enjoys team roping, dancing, scrapbooking and volunteering as a sports trainer for a junior hockey team.

Amy is 19 years old and is a native Calgarian. She is in her second year at Mount Royal College and has recently decided to pursue a career in education. Amy works part-time at the Calgary Construction Association as an executive assistant and volunteers once a week in a grade 2 classroom. Her interests include show jumping, swimming and running.
